Celebrating 250 Years: Charles Hammond House

Join us celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Charles Hammond House, the oldest continuously used home on Martintown Road and a cherished colonial-era landmark later enhanced with Greek Revival porches. In partnership with the Edgefield County Historical Society’s annual fall meeting, the afternoon will feature live colonial artisan demonstrations, refreshments, and brief talks on the home’s architecture and Hammond family history. All friends, neighbors, and supporters are warmly invited.
